The past ten days have been very trying for me, but also very productive. Despite working an incredible amount of hours at my day job (and dealing with the stress and deadlines related to what is going on there), I have managed to maintain a steady pace of productivity. I decided to utilize all my available resources (read: time) building – better to walk the walk than talk the talk.
So, it’s up. Localnik, version 0.01 is up. While I am confident that it really is ready to go, I know that its much smarter to let some of my friends (I’ll talk to you all soon) and have them try it out for a while, and go from there. I plan on writing multiple posts in the coming days/weeks on related plans, as well as an exhaustive post of my idea behind Localnik. For now, all the public can see is a register page.
What excites me the most is how am I handling all this. As the days go by, I find myself more and more serious about my plans. I’m telling myself I’m doing it. This is no longer me putzing around in PHP. I’m not just reading tech & entrepreneurship related blogs and websites because I’m bored and mildly interested. I’m collecting, learning, using.
I’m not playing. I’m preparing.
