Tom Friedman, author of The World Is Flat and From Beirut to Jerusalem, was on Meet the Press promoting his new book and gave a great and inspirational interview. Posting here because it’s definitely worth watching.
“100,000 people in 100,000 garages” – great line.
I read The World Is Flat. It was pretty good, but he could have written it in 200 pages rather than 600. Lots of repetition and themes that could easily be condensed.
I’ll agree with you there! Of course you could say that about any long book.
I bet if you read his new book, you’d find that not much more is said than what’s in the interview above 🙂
Inspiring nonetheless….
